2K Games has just released a new trailer for the upcoming PlayStation 3 version of Bioshock, showcasing explosions, flying corpses, and in-your-face action.

does it hav blood and gore (not over the top gore) but is it violent, ive never played Bioshock and i will b pickin this up 4 my trusty Ps3 upon release but if it did hav violence it would be even more of a sellin point 4 me - Thanx

EDIT. Ive only watched 1 trailer 4 Bioshock and that was a while ago, its like buyin a book and readin the last page (which my Dad does) id rather not see anymore videos for it so it wont spoil the game when i finally play it.

yes its pretty violent in places. in fact its violent pretty much all the time!

i played the demo on my 360, it sure does look violent... cannot wait to get this for my ps3

okcomputer6129d ago

To the original poster, yea, its a fps so obviously theres violence. But bioshock is much better than just that, its the atmosphere, the plot and the creative gameplay that makes the game so great.

Bioshock is the best game this gen of consoles has to offer so far, and its good that gamers who own just a ps3 will finally get a chance to play it.

If you "cannot wait" to get it for your ps3, why didn't you get it for your 360 last year? Weird.

severely disappointed by Bioshock? Have you ever played System Shock 2? Don't get me wrong, I liked Bioshock but it wasn't half as good as System Shock 2.

SL1M DADDY6129d ago

While I too was disappointed that Bioshock was not as good as System Shock 2, I most certainly was not disappointed in the game Bioshock at all. It was a great game and that only shows just how awesome System Shock 2 was. If they would do a remake of System Shock I would be giddy like a little school boy.

It's 10 years too late for a BioShock film. The world of Rapture would have been perfect for a film. It's actually a good candidate for proper utilization of 3D, for increased depth rather than bullshit popping out of the screen. It could really show off the underwater city that way. But BioShock as a brand is so irrelevant these days that a film just doesn't make sense. Especially considering it would need a big budget and top notch effects to really take advantage of the IP.

gold_drake330d ago

i agree on the bigger budget. all the cgi they'd need for the background.

but i think it would work better as a show. a movie would be too short to establish the story

TheNamelessOne330d ago

Netflix greenlights anything, so that shows me very little faith in the project. Enough to just crap something out as they're, more and more, known to do.

its where b movies go to live, its run by democrats , dont expect anything good from netflix

I'll laugh if it turns out to be better then the Borderlands movie
