Destiny is the biggest letdown for gamers since the xbox one reveal...

Main focus of the dlc is story content so we were right the story is dlc. All I knew when I played was that I was killing different aliens and had a futuristic parot with me that always hacked or tripped some alarm making me need to kill more aliens. I traded it in for shadows of morodor best decision I ever made.

The price difference between countries is obsurd but in terms of content, it's a lot more than you get for a $15 map pack in whatever call of duty game you may be playing.

Concerning opinions of the game story, repition etc, there are two kinds of gamers: single player in it for the story gamers and multiplayer in it for the grind players. The latter has always clearly been the target audience for Destiny and to the majority of those gamers it has in no way failed to satisfy.

Have to make up for the $500 Million they spent somehow.

Sadly, this is the current state of the industry because we keep buying into garbage like Destiny. Go buy something fun and original such as Sunset Overdrive.

I'm annoyed that people claim that you got your moneys worth if you played 30+ hours. No, thats not how it works. Not all hours are created equally, and the repetitive gameplay in Destiny is no exception. Some people just want to finish the game, for the sakes of completing it (lvl 30), but these same gamers have the right to complain when theres nothing different to do.

Honestly the game is reviewed right. Looks great, gameplay is tight, but lacks story and it's repetitive.

Not sure how you can justify $20 per DLC.

If they keep this up with each new DLC by next year we could have a full game.

You know what...I knew Activision was going to be the death of Destiny. Sometime last week I got fed up with this game to the point of not caring what happens in it anymore and it wasn't out of anger, but rather the realization that the game was a constant loop of repetition that doesn't reward you based on how well you do, but instead when it feels like it.

Why am I even putting any effort into truly playing? Even in the Crucible it seriously feels pointless to me now the only fulfillment you get out of it is killing another player or capturing an objective just like any other FPS online. I have a 27 Hunter, 26 Warlock and a 22 Titan and unfortunately I think I've seen all I'm going to see from this game.

The cut out content being made DLC at that price is pretty disgusting. Thankfully there are games coming out that will help keep me away from this game. I hope The Division doesn't turn out like this, but it's Ubisoft...why the hell wouldn't it.

I swear if I could sell Destiny at this point after seeing this news I would, but I went ahead and went for the Digital Copy...never again.

the DLC should be £4.99, on top of that I predict the DLC will be slap banged in everyone's faces when they play destiny eg. "hey look extra content, buy me now"

it's a terrific game but this has spoiled it, I believe everybody should be at the same level content wise with this it will seam like a separate premium service for those who buy

I initially really liked this game but this is complete bull.

The dlc is really a rip of, but i like to play Destiny. I like to evolve my Titan, weapons, armor. I just wish there were more strikes and content.

Another huge mistake is why, like the strikes, no automatic selection for the vault and nightfalls?????? Why???? I dont have enough people to go there and dont like to be asking...

It should also be possible, like on the strikes, to play with a random team the vaults and nightfall.

Also they should let us play with more exotic guns or armor.

This IS the same company that publishes Skylanders. They think gamers WANT to spend $250 to $300 on a complete game.

I don't see what the problem is, if you work in UK you get payed in that currency and if you work in USA you get their currency. If you have a job in UK and get payed £50 a day and someone else has same job in america they get payed $50 a day and spend 20 out of that. To that person they spent the same amount of their pay. This is only a problem if you try to buy the expansion in UK with dollars which you wouldn't do.
If the problem is that the expansion cost $20 instead of the normal $15 for Call of Duty DLC that is because this is an Expansion not normal DLC so it comes with more stuff, you get maps and a extra mission for extinction or zombies with CoD DLC but you get a bunch of missions, weapons, level cap increase, gear, maps, and more challenges with Destiny Expansion.

this article is a cost/benefit analysis disaster. Just because the original game was 60? Final Fantasy Tactics on PS1 is my favorite game of all time. I'd pay 60 dollars for a FFT PS1 expansion. Same engine, graphics, everything. People who want more destiny will pay and play it. The people who don't, well speak with your wallet.

The original purchase is a sunk cost. If you would pay 20 dollars for another raid, so be it.

People it takes armies of high paid professionals to make these massive games.

Expect to pay $20 3 or 4 times a year in the form of expansions. A year of WoW is approx $140 and nobody complains.

If you're not interested in games like Destiny and their ongoing DLC releases then do what everybody else does.

call of duty releases bs map packs all the time with no added features and charges $15, not sure how much in pounds.

We get 3 maps, 2 raids, 1 strike, new gear, and new weapons. To me that sounds like better value at only $5 more compared to some other "top" games that everyone blindly pays for.

Why would I invest a third of a fully priced game for this garbage when there are literally 6 awesome games coming out in November.

Listen, if you where still p[laying this trash 2 weeks after launch you just had nothing else to play. I've bought like 7 games after Destiny and even if you beat me with a whip you couldn't force me to play this thing. TO me, this game simply doesn't exists.
They got my money the first time. Shame on me. Now back to playing Shadow Warrior which pound for pound is 100% better than this mellow dramatic crap.

Scrap it, retool , and use some of the "best" assets of this game, maybe guns, abilities, ect.. and focus all the energy of your teams on Destiny 3... make it a PS6, PC and Xbox Launch window game.

Not saying the delay will magically make the game a 10 outta 10 but a delay is a start to work on core content of the game. Some say the delay wont do anything for the game at all. They might be right tbh. Delays these days don't hold much weight like they use to unfortunately.

Ditch the live service BS and make it a single-player story-driven campaign like the original games..
